Title IX
The Department of Education is proposing radical new rules under Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972. This will put women’s safety and privacy at risk, and deprive women of athletic and professional opportunities.
The new rule would redefine “sex” as used in Title IX to include “sex stereotypes, sex-related characteristics (including intersex traits), pregnancy or related conditions, sexual orientation, and gender identity.”
Some of the consequences of this rule change are massive: women's safety and privacy threatened, biological men competing with women in sports, and
sex and gender radically redefined.
Voice your opposition to the rule change by September 12, 2022.
Senate vote on Marriage
On July 19, the House passed a bill to redefine marriage. Every House Democrat, and 47 House Republicans voted to repeal the Defense of Marriage Act, which was approved in 1996 by overwhelming bipartisan majorities in both chambers of Congress (342-67 in the House, 85-14 in the Senate) and signed into law by President Clinton.
The new "Respect for Marriage Act" legalizes same-sex marriage. This statement by Congress in favor of same-sex marriage promotes a harmful, anti-family policy, and will further erode religious freedoms and threaten the tax-exempt status of religious entities.
Petition to Senator Warren
Sen. Warren recently had this to say about crisis pregnancy centers: "We need to shut them down all around the country."
Sign this petition to Sen. Warren and ask that she recognize pregnancy resource centers provide great support for mothers, fathers, and babies during and after birth. Nationwide there are about 2,700 such centers serving nearly 2 million people a year and providing close to $270 million in services at virtually no charge.
